Zippy Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Zippy (the "App"), a mobile game published by independent developers publishing as Wry Agency ("we"), handles your information. This policy describes the current version of the App. In short: the current version of Zippy does not collect personal data. The App is published on the App Store and Google Play under the developer name Cem Sal.

1. Information we collect

In this version we do not collect any personal data. The App does not ask you to create an account, and it does not ask for or access your name, email address, phone number, location, photos, contacts or device advertising identifier. In this version the App contains no advertising, no analytics, no social media integrations and no third-party tracking technology. The App does not need an internet connection to work and does not send data to our servers or anyone else's. In this version we do not share any data with third parties.

2. Game information that stays on your device

So you can continue where you left off, the name you give Zippy, Zippy's needs, the chips you earn and your settings are saved in a file on your device. The file also holds an identifier generated randomly on your device to tell game saves apart; it is never linked to you. This information never leaves your device; we cannot see, read or use it.

If your device backup (iCloud or Google backup) is turned on, this file may be included in that backup like the rest of your device data. Such backups are stored in your Apple or Google account under Apple's and Google's own privacy policies and never reach us.

3. Notifications

If you allow it, the App schedules local notifications on your device to let you know when Zippy is hungry, wakes up or misses you. Notifications are created entirely on your device; no server is used and no notification token is collected. You can turn them off at any time in your device settings or in the App with the notifications switch in Settings ("Let … send news"; the name of the switch changes with the name you gave your pet, for example "Let Zippy send news").

4. App stores

You download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play. These stores handle downloads and purchases under their own privacy policies. Apple and Google may share anonymous, aggregated statistics (such as download counts and crash reports) collected only from users who agreed to this. Such information does not allow us to identify you and is never combined with other information.

5. Children's privacy

Zippy is designed to be playable by everyone. In this version we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. In this version the game has no chat, sharing, external links or purchases. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question, please contact us at the address below.

6. Data security and retention

Because this version does not collect personal data, there is no data for us to store or transfer. The game save on your device is deleted when you delete the App.

7. Your rights

Laws such as the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and California privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA) give you rights to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of your personal data. Because this version does not process personal data about you, there is no data for us to provide or delete under these rights. In this version we do not sell or share personal data. You can still send us any request at the address below; we will reply within 30 days.

8. Changes to this policy

Ads, in-app purchases or online features may be added to the App in the future. In that case, before the feature is released, we will update this policy and the app store declarations and change the effective date. We will announce significant changes on this page and, where possible, in the App.
